Nepal is a developing country and media is also the part of the nation. Consequently media is also in the developing phase. In the past, there was general feeling of lack of knowledge, skill, efficiency, and dedication but comparative improvement has been seen today. Media has been much progressed in developed countries with the implication of scientific technologies. Nepal is still a developing country which is still behind in this prospect. Though theoretical knowledge is not fully implied in applied field, a few signs of progress are noticed. A Competitive environment has been created and there is still a lot to do. Our technology is centered on viewing TV. We need to have feeling of confidence and co operation and should have collective commitment in the search of new technologies and research but here rather than qualitative, quantitative development has happened. So this thinking is to be changed for the development of media in Nepal.

As we come to the end of our school life, the concern of a good career assumes great importance for us. It is then that we begin to give thought for the future and wonder what we will be.

The issue of career building has become more important than on earlier days. One can follow the profession of his father and family where a father passes his skills to his son who carries on the family trade. But, may be its for those who are involved in agriculture or art and craft else question on career still makes people restless.

Now due to the increase in population, development and of course due to good education, this system has almost disappeared. Only talents and potential are referred nowadays. So, how does one go about choosing their career is still a big confusion.

Different things are to be considered before deciding upon career. It’s not to easy to choose a career. In fact most of time, decision can’t be made on one’s own. Advice of more experienced person must be taken. A correct choice will enable us to lead a happy and successful life, on the other hand a wrong choice may force one to face frustration and disappointment in the future.

I am 25 and I don’t have a job till now. I did some time in a handicraft retail shop and then an investment agency where I found out about commodity trading. I found it to be quite like gambling where you analyze the future trends and then make a prediction whether the price of that particular commodity (we only used to trade in gold). I made some investment also there but all went in vain. After the loss, I was kind of thinking that commodity trading is not for me but I was wrong. It is one of the best things that I’ve landed upon and now I see the future of it real good.

A few decades ago, the Kathmandu valley became a purely commercial hub; it was an agricultural land which totally depended upon the rainy monsoon for its important rice crops and other paddies. Everyone have their own dreams and wishes and I also had too. I always had a dream that there will a loving guy in my life who will love me forever in my life and who will fulfill all my wishes and in the course of time I found my boy.

People believed that dreams never came true but dreams are the hypothetical world where we try to fulfill our wishes which can’t be fulfilled in our real life. But my dreams came true when I met him. In our first meeting I never thought he would be that person who will fill my world with happiness. But as I spent more and more time with him I came to know he really loves me and I was also in love with him and can’t live without him. He showed me another phase of my world, fulfilled all my dreams. Before saying and asking he fulfilled all my wishes and dreams and loved me so much which I have only thought in my dreams. I have always loved to watch movies. But movies never meant just time pass for me but it have always been inspiring and encouraging for me in some context. But since I have watched “Rang De Basanti” of Aamir Khan which shattered the soul of every youth, he has been a inspiration for me. Today I watched 3 idiots, in the movie a message was repeated again and again till the end and concluded in the same message that “We should become educated but not Book worm And We should be successful ourselves but not running after successful persons”. I liked it very much so I will try to get knowledge from books but wont try to live like a bookish person who always thinks books are correct and other people are incorrect which can may be lead me to success in life…………

Today, I knew that Facebook which I hang on 24-7 is so dangerous. Now I want to deactivate my account for good. This morning when I woke up and opened my fb as usual, I was shocked to see a naked picture on my wall on which was tagged my sister’s name. I was startled at first and then I called my sister and told her to remove that tag and also block that guy who did this. There was internet connection problem in her house so she gave me her email and password and I removed the tag and also blocked and reported that guy’s account. The fault was also of my sister as she blindly accepted anybody’s request without even knowing who they are. This was the biggest mistake she did and now she was suffering. All her friends who had checked that time must have seen that post and felt bad. So, my suggestion is before using anything read and research properly so that you don’t fall into any kind of trap later on don’t have to regret later on.

Bought a new shoe

I was planning to buy a new shoe for a long time. My one and only converse is all worn out and the inner sole is also very torn and loose. But I every time I went shopping, they only showed me expensive shoes and right now I needed a shoe just for playing basketball. Last Saturday, Sworup had told me that there’s sale going on at Sundhara and today I went there. Well, I didn’t find anything that I like at Sundhara but near Sundhara there was a shop and there my eyes landed upon a green shoe and at that very moment I loved it. I was just praying inside for it to be on sale too and wallaaa it was on sale. I tried it and it fitted exactly. The rest is a history. I paid Rs 750 and bought it and right now I am wearing it on my bed. This Saturday, I’m gonna be at TC with my new shoe and we gonna rock !!!

Love is a strange feeling. I thought I could never love again after my heart was broken once but it wasn’t my decision after all. I felt in love again and again and again. I thought love was meant to happen just once just like birth and death but now I know it is not like that. I now know why people in western civilization marry so many times and why they take love so casually and they break up easily too. That’s because love is an ever changing phenomenon. I can happen whenever with whomever and you might not know or you might think it’s not love but it might be or sometimes you might just have a feeling but might think its love. Yeah love is a strange feeling. I’ve felt the warmth of love so many times and in so many different ways. It’s nature of people I guess, we want more even if we have what is needed. But beware, too much of even sugar is bitter. Similarly, too much of love is also contagious. Coz now I feel, I was better alone. It’s just not for me may be; not my type of thing may be.

Went to watch Dasdhunga today. It was a 8:45 am show and at first I resisted because it was too early for a lazy person like me to wake up and go see a documentary movie. Sam was telling me before to go watch that movie too. He’d already seen it and said I’d like it too but I wasn’t too sure about it. Anyways I went to see it and strangely I liked it. I have to say I loved it actually. It’s one of the first Nepali movie I loved. The movies I watched before were missing many things and even in the theater I used to complain a lot to my friends but this time I didn’t even speak a word while the movie was on. I was so deep into that movie that I didn’t talk to my friends.
Dasdhunga is a movie based on the death scandal of late politicial Madan Bhandari who was killed in a car accident. Some said it was an accident while many say it was a cold blooded planned murder. After that movie even I thought it was a murder. The real mystery of the murder hasn’t been solved yet so we couldn’t see it in the movie either but the movie was so realistic and the characters seemed to real. I’ve asked my friends to watch it too. I’m sure they gonna love it too.

My bike

Did I ever told you guys n gals about my bike? My bike is like my buddy and I take care of it like I take care of myself. By the way today I washed my bike myself. I thought why waste my money to some bike wash who don’t even clean my bike properly. So, today I took the initiative and cleaned my bike. And guess how much time did it took me? About 2 hours. Can you imagine? My hands were all dirty and black. Actually I was planning to just wash away the dusts and clean the chain and put mobile in it as it’s rainy season and the my bike’s got too much dirt on it. I got nothing to do in the day time so why not spend some time in cleaning the bike, after all it’s such a good friend. It takes me places where I want to go and take me quick. So, why not keep is clean and in a good condition, right? If I hadn’t cleaned my bike today I’d never have found out that my clutch wire is all torn up and needs to be changed. If it would have broken in the middle of a road then I’d have been in a pretty bad condition. So, all the guys and gals keep your bike clean and regularly check for the conditions yourself. Those filthy mechanics don’t do their jobs properly. All they are after is our money. Cheer!!!

My first job entrance

Well, I forgot to mention before that today I gave the entrance examination for my first job application. I applied for a junior assistant position at Bank of Asia. My aunt was saying that I shouldn’t apply for such a mere post; better to complete my MBA and then apply for a higher post but still I applied. I want to experience how it feels to work in a bank, how it feel to be an employee before starting a business and become an employer. I know if I get the job, it’s going to be really hard for me to manage my time but I have to compromise if I don’t want to be late.
The exam went well but I don’t know man there were too many applying for just 10 seats. I am hopeful though. I might be selected for the interview. They’ve told us to look into the website for the result tomorrow I think. Let’s see what’s the result will be.

Felt so good after a long time. It’s been 3 weeks in a row we hadn’t played basketball but today we played and it was fun as hell. Man I missed my friends and we all playing basketball at TC so much. Basketball is like a life for me. I can’t imagine myself being much happier than when I am playing basketball. Truly, I love this game. I don’t play it for money or anything and I never did expected anything for it either. I just want to play the game. Damn I am too tired. My back is aching. I hope all my friends are okay too and that it doesn’t rain next Saturday so that we can all come and play. Friends let’s meet up next week okay same time same place? Astala vista!!!

My aim

It feels strange while talking about my aim. Why? Because for most of the people aim is something that they wanted to be since their childhood and it’s kinda fixed like some want to be a doctor when they grow up and some want to be an actor. For me, I was always confused. When I was just a kid I wanted to be a doctor but at that time I don’t quite remember if it was my dream or my parent’s dream. I loved to study but now when I think of it, I am confused myself if I loved studying. Was is I loved studying or was it something else that made me love it? Later I wanted to be a software developer. When I saw loads of technology and all those cool websites and computer applications, I was so hooked up that I decided to be a software developer but again before becoming one I grew a little older and there my next aim was waiting for me. I matured a little bit and then thought why to work for others when I am so literate and able. Now I want to start something of my own. I want to make others work now and myself just sit in a chair, order them and get the job done. I don’t know what my aim will be tomorrow morning when I wake up but I will surely share it.

It’s a big world out there and it’s obvious that people get lost in this big world. Many of my friends are lost. I don’t know where they are or even if they are dead or alive. I sure would like to know where there are and have a drink with them just like old times.
Many of my friends have moved to USA and few weeks ago when I went there for a vacation I wanted to give them a surprise. But for that I had to know their address. I hate to be in this situation ... I got into this mess myself and now I don't know what to do next as usual... I'm a dumb ass ... Why do I have to be such an ass, why did I have to say the things that I said when I knew that it's do nothing but hurt someone's feelings...I didn't meant to but I couldn't stay quite... some big mouth I have.

It’s raining again. Seems like everything is back to normal...the morning, the evening, the night. Even the breezes feel so different, the tenderness...it feels so fresh and so...I don’t know like what. May be love is really back in my life. But sometimes when I come to think about it, I’m so scared and sometimes I am so angry. The agony that I’ve been through only I know how even a second passed. I don’t even want to remember it.

Caesarean, commonly known as a C-section, is an operation in which a doctor makes an incision in the abdomen to reach the uterus and fetus. A caesarean section is a major abdominal surgery related to childbirth. In order for a natural labor to occur, three factors must be achieved. Firstly, there must be strong contractions to dilate the cervix to 10 centimeters. Secondly, the fetus must be able to transcend through the birth canal, lastly the pelvis must be large enough to allow the baby to make the trip down the birth canal. If these three factors do not occur, then a condition called “failure to progress” occurs. In a case, where little dilation has occurred, a doctor will let a laboring mother continue to labor 24 hours or more to allow the opportunity for a natural delivery, as long as neither the baby nor the mother are showing any signs of distress. If, after 24 to 48 hours, dilation has not progressed, a C-section will most likely be performed.

Why and when are C-section deliveries done?

Some of the main reasons for C-section deliveries are failure of labor to progress, repeated caesarean, multiple births, premature labor, and baby in breech position or fetal distress. When labor continues over a long period of time, doctors tend to take extra precautions to ensure that both mother and baby show no signs of extreme exhaustion or over exertion. If the baby's heart rate slows or accelerates too quickly or shows no signs of activity, most often it is considered signs of fetal distress. Because the risk of infection and oxygen deprivation is high after a prolonged labor, any sign of distress usually calls for an emergency C-section.
