Running after Power

What is the first thing that you can think of when you hear the word power? Power is what has the ability to transfer human to animal. Power is for what people can kill its own loved ones. Power is what can turn a God to a Devil. History has it, power has never done good for anyone and power hasn’t also been enough for anyone. No matter how much powerful a person is, s/he always seek to be more powerful. Power is something that is worth more that all the gold and diamonds of the world. Just the word ‘Power’ seems so powerful that it is imaginable why people are willing to even die to get it.

Every body wants to be powerful. Ask anyone what they want to be and you will get the same answer from each one of them -"I want to be powerful”. Power can create as well as destroy a person’s life. As I’ve already mentioned, to get power one can even kill its own blood. As we turn the pages of the history, the reason behind most of the wars is for power. Lots of people die in wars for this cause. Families got broken down, life became hell, one killed the other for power while the next one killed that other one to get the same power from the him. Power never remains in the hand of one for a long time. It’s just the matter of time. So, one should stop running after power. It will make your life a disaster.
